Your Car is running

Chris needed a new battery in his car and Eli wanted to help him.  Chris decided to have the battery tested first.

The mechanic opened the hood of the car to test the battery.  Chris and Eli were standing right there.

Eli: Can I watch?

Mechanic: Do you have eyes?

Eli: Yes.

Mechanic: then you can watch.

It was determined that the battery needed to be replaced.

Eli: why does your car need a battery?

Chris: to help it run.

Eli: your car can't run, it doesn't have any legs.

Put a cork in it!

One night at the Dinner table:

Eli: Excuse me, I burped. (immediately after the announcement he passed some gas)

Luna: I think it came out the wrong end.

Eli: No, that was a toot.  My teacher says I have to call it a toot.

A few days later:

Eli had gas.  It was rather stinky.

Luna: Should I put a cork in your tooter?

Eli: No! I would explode!

Daddy

Luna: Do you want to be a daddy someday?
Eli: Yes
Luna: How many Babies are you going to have?
Eli: two
Luna: Boys or girls?
Eli: Boys
Luna: What are their names going to be?
Eli: One is Eli. The other is Rock, like Rock music!

Toot Toot!

I was reminded tonight of something Kiah used to say!

A long time ago, Kiah must have been 2 or 3.  Kiah was in the bathroom, trying to make use of the facilities.  She had been in there awhile, so I went to check on her.

Luna: Did you go poop?
Kiah: No, I just parted.
